Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By opening soulpull.org, playing Soulpull, or using any part of this website (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Who can use it

Soulpull is open to everyone to play and read. Posting questions or answers in the community section is for people aged 16 and over. You may not use the Service if the law where you live forbids it.

3. The game

Soulpull is a free browser game. It is provided as an ongoing project: features, balance, content and rewards can change, be paused or be reset at any time, with or without notice.

Your game progress is stored in your own browser or device. Clearing site data, using private browsing, switching browsers, or a browser or device problem can erase it. Please use the Export and Save now options in Settings to keep a backup. We do not guarantee that any save will be kept.

4. Your licence and what you may not do

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play Soulpull for your own non-commercial enjoyment.

You agree not to:

• copy, host, mirror, sell, rent or redistribute the game, its code or its art
• decompile, reverse engineer, deobfuscate or extract the game’s code, data, art, audio or secrets, except where the law allows it despite this term
• edit saves, forge redeem codes, or use bots, scripts or exploits to gain items, currency or progress
• interfere with or overload the website, its servers or other players’ use of it
• use the Service to break the law or to harass, threaten or deceive anyone

5. Virtual items and donations

Heroes, gems, gold, gear, materials and any other in-game items have no real-world value. They are not your property, cannot be exchanged for money, and can be changed, removed or reset by us.

Donations (for example through PayPal or Ko-fi) are voluntary gifts to support development. They are handled by those services under their own terms, do not buy any item or advantage unless we say so in writing, and are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise.

6. Community content (Ask & Answer)

Parts of the website let you post questions and answers. You are responsible for what you post. Do not post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual, spam, malware, advertising, or other people’s personal information.

By posting you give us a free, worldwide right to display, store and moderate your post on the website. You keep your own rights in what you wrote. We may hold, edit, hide or delete any post at our discretion, and we may hold posts that contain links or come from first-time posters for review.

7. Other people’s services

The Service links to or uses third parties such as Discord, Reddit, PayPal, Ko-fi, Cloudflare. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or policies. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

8. Ownership and no affiliation

Soulpull, its code, art, music, sounds, text and design belong to the Soulpull creators. All rights are reserved except the licence in section 4.

Soulpull is inspired by the manhwa Pick Me Up: Infinite Gacha. Soulpull is an independent fan-inspired project and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by that work or its creators, authors or publishers. Names and works mentioned belong to their respective owners.

9. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation, and the safety or permanence of your data.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Soulpull and the people who make it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost progress, items, data, profits or time, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Ending access

We may suspend or end your access to the Service or parts of it, including the community features, at any time, for example if you break these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the updated terms.
